An amendment was proposed by Sen. Tom Takubo (R) to permit 16-year-old minors to be put through sex-change hormonal experiments.
“Vice-Chairman Takubo… moved to amend the amendment by allowing the age of consent for medical treatment to be 16 years of age with parental consent.”
The Family Policy Council of WV opposed this amendment as it is meant to begin hormonal experiments on minors under the age of 18, in preparation for eventual sex-change surgeries. These therapies have been shown to place children at a higher risk for mortality, suicide, and can result in the permanent sterilization of victims who endured this unethical practice. It changes the human body and appearance permanently.
