Description
An amendment was proposed by Sen. Tom Takubo (R) attempted to create a ‘grandfather’ clause that would allow children currently receiving hormones or active surgical preparation for gential removal to continue being used for sex-change experiments.
The Family Policy Council of WV’s Position
The Family Policy Council of WV opposed this amendment as it attempted to continue the unethical and barbaric practice of sex-change experimentation on children. These practices mutilate children’s bodies. The hormone ‘treatments’ are often irreversible, and also place the child at a heightened risk of mortality.
